U Right
Cam might not be the most lyrically lyrical, but he’s hella entertaining and I almost always like what he does.
This shit is fucking hilarious.
If you have ever been a man in a relationship, well, just listen.
Off his latest mixtape Boss of All Bosses 2 with Drama that dropped better late than never.

The Clipse + Cam’ron = Popular Demand (Popeye’s) video
Uhm…
I ::heart:: The Clipse.
Pause
The video and the record are smashing.
Too bad it’s radio edited…
Thorntons are mega-consistent.
Throw in Cameron Giles? Beat by Pharrell?
Too easy.
Here’s the lyrics so you can rap along:
(Pharrell)
Mami, you miss me, don’t you?
Haters, wish you could hit me, don’t you?
(Heh) You should call me uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
That new CL slide
Outside of Popeyes, eatin’ chicken and fries
(Word up) Yeah, come holla at your uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
(Pusha T)
You are now listening to the all-time phenomenal
Used to bag work in VA at Econo Lo
Now I’m layin’ out at the Delino though
But don’t get it twisted, the Uzi’s in the liner, no
Hollow tip, dum-dums, and flesh like piranhas know
Such a scary thing to hear the souls sing Geronimo
Pull up in the CL, the ship’s astronomical
Hoes linin’ up on the curb, they fall like dominoes
Used to have this white bitch, she looked like Madonna though
Heard that she fuckin’ LeBron, but shit, I don’t know
Like that, Bron-Bron? I had that long time ago
Butt-nekkid, on the balcony at the Dallino
I mean the Delano, I mean Pharrell’ll know
The head shop bitch from DC? Hey, P, let ‘em know
(Yeah, that bitch was hot, nigga) But it was time to go
Them hoes come in eeny, meeny, minie moe
(Pharrell)
Mami, you miss me, don’t you?
Haters, wish you could hit me, don’t you?
(Heh) You should call me uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
That new CL slide
Outside of Popeyes, eatin’ chicken and fries
(Word up) Yeah, come holla at your uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
(Cam’ron)
Why wouldn’t I be? Look at shorty (Daaamn)
Uh, mami good down to the cuticles (I’m Caaaam)
What’s your name, beautiful, like (Caaam)
I could get used to your (Raaam)
If you knew what I used to do
But call me, I’m old, what, Uncle Cam?
I tax (Like who?) Like Uncle Sam
From the jungle fam, where niggas bundle grams
Fumble or you crumble, get murked on the humble and
(Aaaand) The gat on, the belt on the hip
(Aaaand) I keep it fa’ rell with the clips (Clips)
Drive a hard bargain (Bargain)
I’m Harlem’s only God gorgon, car foreign
Duh, the man st-st-stutter by
I knew your moms well, tell your mother hi
I’m the other guy that got your mother high
Up like a caterpillar, I make butter fly
(Pharrell)
Mami, you miss me, don’t you?
Haters, wish you could hit me, don’t you?
(Heh) You should call me uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
That new CL slide
Outside of Popeyes, eatin’ chicken and fries
(Word up) Yeah, come holla at your uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
(Malice)
Cot damn, the boy’s back
For pushing a mountain of Sno-Caps or avoiding the Kojak
The pioneer of the coke rap
I’m dancin’ with the stars, steppin’ on blow, doin’ the toe-tap
The dope return like I had it on LoJack
It made its way home like a road map
I fathered this
If I misled any kid that’s fatherless
That burden’s on my soul as long as I exist
Generation lost, they sayin’ they can’t reach us
The answer is the Lord, like Saturday Night Fever
I kept it in the crib, it made me a light sleeper
Whether watchin’ for the Feds or avoiding the Grim Reaper
Way deeper than rap
Money and hoes, it’s deeper than that
Fight the temptation, but it keep comin’ back
Money stack to the ceiling just as quick as it dispense
Who knew those commas meant you could lose your common sense?
Before it’s too late, all I can tell ‘em is repent
(Pharrell)
Mami, you miss me, don’t you?
Haters, wish you could hit me, don’t you?
(Heh) You should call me uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand
That new CL slide
Outside of Popeyes, eatin’ chicken and fries
(Word up) Yeah, come holla at your uncle
I understand, I’m back by popular demand

Best rap site ever…
Oct 28, 2009 music
Ever wonder what those pesky rappers were talking about?
Not a fan of the rap music? Confused by all the urban slanguistics?
Just what the fuck are they talking about?
Here is the website for you.
Here you get the lyrics, the track and the translation, all broken down line by line.
For example:
Cam’ron – Get ‘Em Girls
I get the booters boosting, I get computers puting
Y’all get shot at, homie…I do the shooting
I do the recruiting, I tutor the students
I nurture their brain, I’m moving the movement
Whether Buddhist or Buddah, that’s Judas or Judah
I got Luger to Ruger, hit from Roota to Toota
Chick from hooter to hooter, I put 2 in producers
I’m the real boss, doggy, the Hulah of Hoosiers
I rock mostly dosey, I roll mostly dolie
I’ll leave you holey-holey, you’ll say “Holy Moly”
So they have to build up their library a little, but definitely a future classic in the making.
Update: The good people who run the site hit me up to tell me that they have switched web addys and you can now rap along with your fave rappers at: http://rapgenius.com
Clipse x Cam = Popeye’s…
The new Clipse/Cam collabo is fire.
Here’s why I love this collaboration. Cam is just hella funny and interesting to me. Mad entertaining. Top 5, dead or alive? Uhm, hells nah. Top 5 entertaining. Could be. And the Clipse… did they ever fall off? Nope. They both have that crackrapness, but don’t take themselves too serious. Plus a slow-flow and Pharrell beat?
Can’t wait for Till the Casket Drops.
