Got wood?

Since my birthday in May is right  around the corner I thought it would be nice of me to help everyone with a few suggestions.

So products made of wood right now are kind of a trend –but at least its not like wearing sunglasses inside the club or learning how to Dougie, which I would never fall for– and I am kinda feeling it.

1.) WeWood

Philosophy
Yes – WE WOOD
WEWOOD has emerged out of Italy as an emblem of eco-luxury and design, committed to the health of our planet. WEWOOD is the avant-garde approach to sophisticated sustainability.

The Tree and The Wood Watch
WEWOOD lets us rediscover nature in its beauty, its simplicity and inspired design. It reminds us of a tree’s powerful way of life; rooted, yet reaching.
Completely absent of artificial and toxic materials, the WEWOOD Timepiece is as natural as your wrist. It respects your skin as you respect nature by choosing it. Your WEWOOD Watch breathes the same air that you breathe and may awaken memories from another time and place. Your WEWOOD Watch records your sensations and shares your experiences as the perfect natural mate, whose story also becomes yours to wear, smell and feel.

Rebuilding an Endangered Ecosystem – One Tree at the Time
A philosophy not implemented is only a dream. Conversely, when you get your WEWOOD Timepiece, you can feel confident you’re making a difference. One Timepiece plants one tree, and together we help to ensure the health and survival of the natural world.
One Watch  – One Tree – One Planet

“The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.”

2.) Shwood

A simple experiment with nature. Born from the limb of a Mandrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from the corner store, Shwood has been a curious endeavor from the beginning. An endeavor to create a product that encompasses the individuality and uniqueness that can only be found in natural surroundings. A desire to experiment with design, materials, and aesthetics in the search for something that works. Free from passing trends, the brand’s focus remains that of its roots, innovation and creation. Long live creativity.

Shwood’s in-house manufacturing process merges precision technology with classic skilled craftsmanship to create a timeless art form. Every step from veneering and precision lens cutting, to shaping and finishing is conducted in our own Portland-based workshop to promise an entirely handcrafted eyewear piece. Wood manipulation is kept to a minimum in order to showcase the medium’s natural and unique splendor. All models are accompanied by 100% UVA/UVB protection Carl Zeiss lenses imported from Italy. Polarized lenses are also available.

And again, only to make things easier for you…
I would take the watch: WeWood DATE- Black and the sunglasses: Canby Zebrawood with Polarized grey lenses.
Please.
